Kid-tested and teacher approved classes at The Tiny Scientist interweave state standards and jaw dropping fun! Your scientist will be conducting experiments, learning new concepts, discussing observations with friends, analyzing data, making a mess and learning just how much fun science can be! Classes are differentiated by age group and grade unless otherwise requested: prek / K-2 / 2-5. PS 282 ONSITE Program: Need a fun, state-standard aligned hands on science program that picks up your child right from their classroom? Done! Outside time, structured play and hands-on science are all part of this amazing after school program. **Please note: Class is from 2:30-5:00, aftercare avail until 5:45. Financial assistance to qualified families.

AFTER SCHOOL SCHEDULE INCLUDES

  • Safe pick up from local schools (optional add-on, see list of schools above)

  • 60 minutes state standard aligned hands-on science.

  • Fresh air FUN! Scientists unwind after a long school day with trips to the playground, nature walks and movement.

  • Snack Time, a rotation of STEM toys and fun table challenges and read alouds carefully selected to support the curriculum.

  • Optional aftercare available until 6:00 (5:45 at PS 282 and PS 110).

  • Take Home projects scientists have made

  • Bi-Weekly “Cheat Sheets” help to kickstart conversations about science at home!
